UConn Hillel is the center for Jewish life at the University of Connecticut in Storrs, CT. With almost 2,000 Jewish college students, Hillel offers students the means to explore and celebrate their Jewish identity in a dynamic and comfortable environment. Each year, Hillel connects students to their community, their peers and their heritage through an array of social, cultural and community service programs.
UConn Hillel is currently seeking new members to join their Board of Directors for a term commitment of 3 years. The Uconn Hillel Board of Directors is made up of Parents, Alumni and Community members.
Board members are required to attend quarterly board meetings (approximately 90 minutes in length) held primarily in the Greater Hartford area and serve on at least one subcommittee. Subcommittees include: Development, Finance, Building, Parents, Alumni and Gala. UConn Hillel encourages those with previous experience in fundraising and/or finance to apply.
