Anyone in our community who is a board member is invited to attend Community Board Member Orientation

This single-evening session serves as a guide to the ins and outs of being a board member and provides the building blocks you’ll need to succeed and propel our community organizations forward. Led by Nanette Fridman, Principal of Fridman Strategies and author of On Board and Holding The Gavel, the orientation will guide and encourage you to think about your role as a board member and as a member of our Greater Hartford community.

About the speaker:

Nanette is an organizational consultant and coach speaking on topics such as empowered leadership, personal strategic planning, and building a team. She had spoken extensively about issues pertaining to Building Your Board of Directors, philanthropy, the nonprofit sector, women and politics, and the American Jewish community. Her speaking engagements are designed to inform, energize and motivate.
