Community Leadership Forum

“Make for yourself a teacher; acquire for yourself a friend” – Pirkei Avot 1:6

The Community Leadership Forum is an opportunity to learn leading-edge ideas about communal leadership from today’s high-level national or international thought leaders. Open to all members of the community, this ongoing series will enhance your current leadership knowledge and help you imagine the future of our Jewish community.

Presenters will create a dialogue on innovative ideas, including:

  • Visioning for the Jewish future
  • Imagining and managing organizational change
  • Strategic thinking
  • Turning vision into reality
  • Lay-professional collaboration
  • Risk-taking
  • Breaking down silos

Especially impactful for teams of lay leaders and professionals, sessions will feature interactive exercises so that you can deep dive into hot topics and discover the best ways to apply them within your own organization. After each forum, JLA will offer two to three smaller workshops throughout the year to reinforce what you’ve learned and help you implement new ideas.
